QUICK STUDY GUIDE
Information and Ideas: Identify main ideas, make supported inferences, and connect evidence to claims. Read tables carefully and avoid conclusions that go beyond the passage.
Craft and Structure: Use context to determine word meanings, recognize purpose and structure, and compare authors’ positions.
Expression of Ideas: Choose logical transitions and use notes to achieve the specific writing goal. Extra true details are not always relevant.
Standard English Conventions: Check subject–verb agreement, sentence boundaries, punctuation, modifiers and parallel structure.
Algebra: Translate situations into equations, solve systems and inequalities, and interpret slopes and intercepts.
Advanced Math: Factor quadratics, use function notation, simplify rational expressions, solve radical equations, and model exponential change.
Problem-Solving and Data Analysis: Work with ratios, percentages, probability, averages, and estimation. An observed association does not automatically establish causation.
Geometry and Trigonometry: Apply area and volume formulas, similarity, the Pythagorean theorem and basic trigonometric ratios.
Begin with the diagnostic. Review every explanation, work on weak skills, then complete a timed set. Check units and signs, use a calculator where helpful, and flag questions that need a second look. Our sets are fixed skill practice; also use official adaptive practice to prepare for test day.
